    1. Leave Tracking Process- Microsoft SharePoint 2010 based Custom Workflow Solutions

      Development of Business Intelligence Solutions involved consolidation of data from organization wide systems in Central Database.

      Features of Solution:

      We designed Custom Workflow Solution to automate leave tracking and approval process with following features:

      1. Management of employee data through employee lists.

      2. Leave Tracking Workflow to achieve following:
      a. Access of Vacation request form to employees. 
      b. Vacation requests to be routed to Managers daily until action is taken, through email.
      c. Notification of review to users in finance department on approval by manager.
      d. Notification of approval or denial to the employee.
      e. Automated updates on shared calendars and other leave records.
      f. Automated Notifications and email alerts at different steps of workflow.

      3. Role based Dashboards and Reporting
      a. Employee Dashboard: View of leave request and balances
      b. Manager Dashboard: Consolidated view of employees, all leaves on single calendar and for single employee.
      c. HR/Finance Dashboard: Leave tracking report in exportable xls format to report all transactions for report period.

      Development Steps:
      Development of Custom Workflow based Leave Tracking and Approval process involved following steps:

      1. Development of lists which allowed users to manage employee data. It involved development of application for employee list management which allowed users in finance department to:
      a. Manage employee data.
      b. Update balances at the beginning of a fiscal year.
      c. Add/import new employees.
      d. Version any manual edit and save old version in historical records.

      2. Design of Workflow and Infopath form which involved following steps:
      a. Creating Custom lists required to implement workflow steps.
      b. Designing Infopath form to implement employee vacation form request.
      c. Developing Business Logic to implement:
        - Access of Vacation request form to employees. 
        - Vacation requests to be routed to Managers daily until action is taken, through email.
        - Notification of review to users in finance department on approval by manager.
        - Notification of approval or denial to the employee.
        - Automated updates on shared calendars and other leave records.
        - Automated Notifications and email alerts at different steps of workflow. 
      d. Developing Workflow steps based on business logic.

      3. Development and Implementation of Workflow Actions which involved following steps:
      a. Designing conditions and actions based on business logic to achieve following actions:
        -Vacation requests to be routed to Managers daily until action is taken, through email.
        - Notification of review to users in finance department on approval by manager.
        - Notification of approval or denial to the employee.
