Cloud Computing

Mobile, social, data.
The cloud is key to unlocking the impact these trends can have on how businesses engage with their customers, partners, and employees in order to better compete. Prabhaat approaches cloud services as a way to help customers take a key step toward better business agility, economics, and experiences both inside and outside their company walls. We also know that for today’s CIOs and business leaders, the cloud presents an opportunity to redefine the role that the IT and non-IT business functions play in implementing a business’ strategy. Because of its power to fundamentally change how businesses operate and compete, the cloud is a game changer for many companies. Aside from selecting the best cloud technology for the task, the greatest challenge to cloud adoption is integrating data, workflows, business processes, and even the clouds themselves. For small companies and entrepreneurs, clouds mean opportunity—a leveling of the playing field in the most data-intensive forms of computing.

For most organizations, SaaS is the likely place to start. Applications like Office 365 and hosted Exchange work relatively seemlessless with your infrastructure. However, when we are considering applications such as a SaaS CRM application, it becomes a complicated challenge given that there will be all kinds of customer data hosted on-premise and some point you will have to synchronize and share that data with other systems such as Accounting. The CRM application may also use Active Directory for authentication in which case you may be required to extend your Directory into the cloud as well .

Each Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) provider (Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, Rackspace, etc) have their own implementation models that allow you to securely extend your private cloud with a hybrid network infrastructure that leverages the best of two worlds: the low-latency and high-bandwidth available with your on-premise datacenter networks with the elastic, pay-as-you-go cloud model of your provider.

Offerings

End-to-end implementation
Starting with a detailed business analysis followed by drawing out the technical requirements, we design, develop, and and deploy the infrastructure necessary to run your application deployment in the cloud. This includes network extension design, VPN strategy, extending of core services such as Active Directory into the cloud and determining the most suitable migration plan for each application.

Architecture design & workshop

From a preliminary scoping call and questionnaire, we develop a detailed work plan incorporating your business requirements and standard architectural best-practices.

Managed migration
Using industry standards and our own Project Management methodology, we develop a comprehensive staregy that is tailored uniquely for each proposed application migraiton.

Deployment review & support
Once deployed, we constantly review your current cloud infrastructure, creating best-practice recommendations, and developing plans to maximize availability and fault-tolerance in your environment. We also provide on-going support as needed.
